The past 18 months has seen a wide range of charities and other organisations provided with financial assistance through the recently formed Northumberland Estates' Community Fund. Resources have also been given to support a number of organisations working within the communities in which we work. Our newly published Annual Report highlights some of the 48 organisations that have received financial support ranging from sports clubs to village halls, from youth projects to those supporting the older generation, and from food banks to health and well being projects. The Estate is also working to forge links and educational opportunities with local schools in the main areas where we operate. While the Covid pandemic may have intervened, fund raising initiatives created and run by Northumberland Estates' staff have supported not only their charity of the year - North Northumberland Hospice Care but also the RNLI.
