Northumberland Estates is seeking the views of local residents and stakeholders on its proposed Phase 2 development at Wynyard Park. The new plans include the addition of retail and trade counter units designed to enhance the range of shopping options available to the local community, as well as create new employment opportunities.

Northumberland Estates has revealed a new approach to the redevelopment of the historic Duke’s School site in Alnwick following a comprehensive viability assessment of the previously approved plans. This renewed vision honours the significance of the Grade II listed building while enhancing community amenities and housing availability.

The Northumberland Estates Community and Environmental Report 2023/24 has been published. The report provides details of the organisations that have been supported by Northumberland Estates Community Fund in the last financial year and highlights the Estates' efforts to deliver long-term social and environmental benefits. 

Northumberland Estates and SSE have entered into a joint development agreement to develop a suite of clean energy projects in the North of England, advancing the region's net zero ambitions.
